NME3 –  Compact magnetic encoder

NME3

The NME3 single-turn absolute encoder is designed for applications that require precise speed control. Even in harsh environmental conditions, the NME3 provides reliable readings because the magnetic scanning is insensitive to dust, shock, vibration and high temperatures. 

This compact encoder is available in a version for incremental signals as well as with an SSI interface. With the incremental version, commutation signals for BLDC motors are generated as well.

  • Incremental resolution: 500 - 4,096 CPR
  • SSI Resolution: 16 bit
  • Maximum speed: 30,000 rpm
  • For shaft diameters: 4 mm, 5 mm and 6.35 mm 

Thanks to its modular design, the NME3 encoder can be combined with brushless DC motors as well as with stepper motors in many sizes, starting with NEMA 8.

This encoder is only available as a combination article and will be mounted and programmed by Nanotec.
