In Nanotec’s low-noise gearboxes, the planetary gears and the ring gear of the first stage are made of a high-quality, low-wear plastic with noise-damping characteristics. The helical toothing allows the teeth to mesh gradually which results in a smoother transmission of forces so that vibrations and noise are further reduced. 

The gearboxes come with many different reductions and, thanks to their compact design, are ideal for use in medical devices and building automation systems.

GP42-N – Low-noise planetary gearboxes

Low-noise gearboxes for brushless DC motors and stepper motors with NEMA 17 flange (42 mm) and the external rotor motors of the DF45 series. Available as one-stage or two-stage gearbox.

GP56-N – Low-noise planetary gearboxes

Low-noise planetary gearboxes with smooth running characteristics for motors in sizes NEMA 23/24 (56/60 mm) and external rotor motors. The gearboxes come in nine different versions.

  • Rated Output Torque 1.5 Nm - 11.8 Nm
  • Efficiency 85 % - 93 %
