SMCP33 - stepper motor positioning control with closed-loop/device plug-in card
The competitively priced and flexible SMCP33 plug-in module that can be integrated in complex device controllers at minimum expense. Thus, even in their own PCBs, the customer can also benefit from the full range of know-how and functionality of Nanotec drive electronics accumulated over the years. In particular, the innovative, virtually noise and resonance free direct control of the end stages via microcontroller in the dspDrive® procedure can be applied in both open and closed-loop operation (current control via encoder) with minimum intrinsic development expense.
The final output stage with a continuous power of 2 A (4 A with heat sink) only needs a supply voltage of 12-48 V and can be conveniently configured with the Windows NanoPro software. Up to 255 controls can be networked over RS485. Numerous predefined operating modes (speed, positioning, flag position, clock direction, analog etc.) are available that cover conventional applications. Also the function of the 16 digital inputs and outputs as well as that of the two analog inputs can be freely configured. In conjunction with the integrated NanoJ programming language based on the Java standard, complete sequencing programs can be implemented on the plug-in module that can be run without a superordinate controller.
Available accessory
SMCP33-EVA is a motherboard for the SMCP33 plug-in device card. This means the user can quickly put 4 stepper motors into operation via a prewired RS485 network with a connection to the PC (USB also possible). All of the inputs and outputs available in the SMCP33 can also be fed to the outside using handy Phoenix Combicon connectors, even an encoder can be connected as well as a brake. All further information can be found stored in the datasheet of the evaluation board (see below)
You can also order the matching counterpart connector components for the SMCP33 on this web site.
