The encoders of the WEDx5541 series combine the advantages of the HEDx5540 encoders (compact shape, low inherent mass and easy assembly) with an extremely attractive price that is approx. 30% cheaper than the HEDx5540 series.

All of these encoders are 3-channel encoders with a 5 V TTL signal (A and B) and index signal I which presents a zero point referred to 360°. In addition, all encoders have a line controller that sends an inverted signal as well as the 3 encoder signals which increases the interference immunity, particularly with distances where cable lengths > 500 mm.

All encoders are delivered without cable as standard. A choice can be made between a flat ribbon cable or a screened cable, L=500 mm (see Accessories).

For self-mounting add the "KIT for self mounting" in the same quantity as you order encoders to your cart. By choosing the option "mounting service" Nanotec fulfills mounting and testing for you. In this case, a B-Version of the appropriate motor has to be ordered together with the encoder.
WEDL5541-A10 and WEDS5546-A10 (hollow shaft) are available pre-mounted only. Please add the same quantity of mounting services to your cart as you've ordered encoders.
