The low-priced stepper motor positioning control to 2.5 A is a microstep PWM constant current IC for power and logic. It is small and requires only few external components and can be deployed without a heatsink due to its low RDSON to more than 1 A. The A3979 chip from Allegro is deployed in high numbers and, in addition to the technical support and the Evaluation Board SMC11, customers also benefit from our favorable distributor prices.
