L28 – Linear Actuators with Lead Screw

The combination of a high-torque stepper motor with a high pitch spindle not only gives the linear actuators of the L28 series an extremely high positioning speed (or extremely short manipulating times) but, in its compact form, also enables still high thrust and tractive forces.

The L2818 series has an adjusting nut in the front bearing flange which can be used to conveniently adjust the axial play of the shaft.

The relevant SMCI.. microstep drives ensuring resolutions of up to <0.01 mm/step are also possible and, hence, this actuator series is also suitable for precision linear axes.

Linear actuators are also available with integrated encoder for position feedback.
