GSGE60 – Worm Gear

In addition to their high level of availability and the possibility of a 90°-displaced output shaft, the worm gears of the GSGE60 series are also distinguished by their high efficiency and the self-locking torque. From a reduction ratio of 50:1 a safe self-locking torque can be spoken of

The gears of the GSGE60 series can be mounted on each stepper motor of the size 56 x 56 mm (Nema) and the ST6018.

The worm gears are lubricated for life ex works with a high-quality, synthetic lubricant for life on the basis of polyethylene glycol and are, therefore, maintenance-free.

Due to their relatively high backlash on reversal (~1-2°), worm gears are not suitable for positioning applications.

Please note that the GPLL gears cannot be mounted by the customer and must, therefore, be ordered together with the motor. The Configurator provides for our motors a selection with all compatible gears.
