The safety brakes from Nanotec have a compact flange construction, are low-wear, fitted with asbestos-free friction pads and provide simple and quick assembly through the permanently adjusted air gap. The brakes are electro-magnetically ventilated and can be used anywhere where moving masses are to be slowed in a very short time or defined to be maintained and the brake moment generated must be available – even if there is a power failure.
The braking force is applied with the aid of a pressure spring (BW brakes) or a permanent magnet. A voltage of 24 V DC must be applied to all brakes for venting.
