Gears

The compact and proven gears from Nanotec are excellent for increasing the output torques, decreasing the output speed, quadratically reducing external moments of inertia and for reducing the step angle of a standard stepper motor.
All gears are equipped with both sided ball bearings and, thus, achieve high axial and radial shaft loadings. New gearing technologies and manufacturing methods offer numerous combination options and reduction ratios, a low circumferential backlash as well as a wide torque spectrum. The special grease lubrication ensures freedom from maintenance and a high service life.
Spur gears still have good efficiency and first-rate cost effectiveness even at high reduction ratios. Spur gears are only available for selected stepper motors.
Planetary gears due to the triple meshing, offer the highest torque at comparable volume and have the highest efficiency with concentric shaft output. The GPLE gears reach an expected service life of >20,000 operating hours.Worm gears enable a 90° force transfer in a short version and low noise and backlash operation. In addition, they make external braking superfluous due to the self-locking torque.
