Compact stepper motors in IP 54 for harsh ambient conditions

The new compact high torque stepper motors of the AD/AS and APxx series in protection classes IP54 and IP65 from Nanotec are only 15 mm longer than standard motors and can easily replace them, even where installation space is restricted.
This advantage is valued primarily by mechanical engineers and apparatus engineers who, in addition to easy EMC integration, also require a machine-compatible version with different connection variants such as a PG screw connection or Sub-D9 or M12 for simple, fast and faultless wiring.
Safety brakes and encoders with 5 V TTL signals with 500 pulses/revolution (quadrature up to 2000 pulses/revolution) can also be optionally integrated for connection to higher-order controllers such as Siemens, Beckhoff, B&R, Wago etc. At the end of 2008 a 24 V variant of the encoders will also be available which further minimizes the wiring effort and lowers costs. The motors are manufactured extremely flexibly with a modular construction in the sizes 28 (12 Ncm), 42 (50 Ncm), 56 (250 Ncm), 86 (9 Nm) and 110 (25 Nm) and can therefore be made available to the customer for the most different drive applications at a favorable price and at short notice.
