Sealed bushing

The stepper motor and BLDC motor with variously sealed bushing contribute to improved mechanical protection as is often required for a machine-conform version. In addition to the simpler version with cable bushings or bend reliefs, the stepper motors are primarily offered in PG or metric screw connections as well as Sub-D connector, M12 and M17 connectors in different pole numbers, thereby reaching a protection class of IP 54 and in the special version actually to IP65.

The anodized and powder-coated metric screw connections (hermetically sealed to IP 68) used in the IP motors have integrated cable clamps and are primarily also suitable for all copper shielded cables and lines as the braided shield is used not only for the mechanical mounting but a low-impedance shield contacting is reached as a result, hence offering optimum EMC protection.
