Round belt pulley
Round belts offer easy installation with constant tractive forces up to a power of approx. 500W.
They are used in preference for driving light to moderately heavy objects, have a high degree of freedom, and can also be used for the transmission of forces at a right angle.
They have excellent resistance to abrasion (high tensile and tearing strength) and oil resistance, even at high speeds.
In addition, they offer low coefficients of friction (the coefficient of friction of steel/round belts with a Shore hardness of 75 A – 90 A is 0.85), enable fast installation and dismantling of machine parts as well as a cost effective bearing support due to the cutting to length of the relevant belt length. Simple O-rings are used for small transmission forces and tensile stresses down to < 0.7 N/mm² and with parallel guiding, can also take over transportation tasks.

Different versions:
- Round belt pulleys, single and double, with and without hub in all common diameters, with grub screw clamping and clamping ring clamping
- Hub borehole with round hole, tapped hole, keyway with straight and side tapped holes, offset borehole with locking devices
- Surface execution and surface working, clear anodized, hard alumite treatment, burnished, chemically nickel plated
- Temperature range of the round belts, optionally with or without tensile member, heavy-duty belts, electrically conductive round belts, twisted or braided, endless belts, hollow belt, hollow belt made of polyurethane NBR or Viton from -20 to +80 °C with metal lock
- The available belt diameters range from 1 – 20 mm depending on the transmission power.
