Eccentric ball bearing
Eccentric ball bearings offer very high efficiency with simultaneously extremely high number of cycles and are, therefore, suitable for the following applications in particular:
- High-precision reciprocating pumps
- Diaphragm pumps with very high performance and easily adjustable stroke frequency and stroke (100 Hz/0.35 mm)
- High-precision positioning systems in the submicrometer range of < 0.5 referred to the standard eccentric tappet with an eccentricity of 0.7 mm (0/-0.05 ) for 360°
The outside diameter of the bearing housing acts here as an eccentric cam and sets the reciprocating pumps in motion with the rotation of the eccentric shaft.
Other sizes of eccentric bearing result in similar motion in the case of other stroke movements or positioning stroke.
Eccentric plates
The eccentric drives and cam plates are deployed in the most different applications such as:
- Adjustment tasks
- High-resolution positioning drives
- Cyclical pendulum or lifting motions
- Automatic adjustment of temperature stresses
- Mechanical preloads or rigidities
- Automatic offset of mounting and wear differences
- Automatic offset of height adjustments
- Readjusting clamping devices and similar..
Through torque-free, fast and easy clamping and adjustment, they rationalize work processes as well as automatically acting cam lever for clamping procedures and adjustment work.
In the standard eccentric tappets, the displacement path has a conveyor section of 1/1.2/2/2.5/3.5/5/7 mm always referred to 360°
Spiral eccenter
Spiral eccenters are used for the adjustment and clamping of different objects. The spiral has the advantage that the clamping effect is the same size in every angular position and has a self-locking torque.
In the standard spiral eccenter, the displacement path has a travel of 3.3/4.1/4.8 mm referred to 225°
They rationalize work processes as well as automatically acting cam levers for clamping processes and adjustment work through torque-free, quick and easy clamping and adjustment.
Clamping bolt
Clamping bolts have a concentric wedge surface and enable fast and safe clamping with a relatively large displacement path and high clamping force. If there are restricted space requirements in the axial direction to the motor, they are also applied for the automatic adjustment of a permanent stop or length compensation.
Depending on the clamping bolt, the axial adjustment possible here is 6-12 mm for a motor revolution of 250°
which results in a resolution of 0.0125 mm/step for a stepper motor with 0.9° (such as the ST4209 or ST5909).
