Timing pulley/Direct gearing

Shaft machining >> Timing pulley/Direct gearing
Direct gearing
Toothed belts combine the advantages of flat belts and V-belts with the no-slip of chain drives, where the wraparound angle of the belt on the cogwheel must not be so large as with V-belts or flat belts.
In addition, they are distinguished by very smooth operation, lower belt pre-tension and the resulting lower bearing load that is adjusted by no-profile tightener pulleys on the outside of the belt.
The toothed belt drives are lubricant and maintenance-free, have only low space requirements, are vibration absorbing and offer high efficiency.
They are also positive (almost no slipping through between the engaging partners) and can, therefore, also be deployed as synchronous drives.
This machining is economically possible from an order quantity of 1000 pieces.

Nanotec delivers and assembles synchronous pulleys in metric and imperial dimensions as well as without hub, with hub or tapered adapter sleeve (requires no keyway). The following tooth profiles (engagement dimensions to ISO), tooth forms, tooth pitches as well as toothed washer forms are possible:
- Trapezoidal profile MXL, XL, L, H, , XH, XXH, AT3, AT5, AT10, AT20, XXL, SL9, SL12
- Round profile 2M, 3M, 5M, 8M, 14M, 20M and CPIII, OmegaHP and HL for higher transmission power
- Involute profile S1M, S1.5M, S2M, S3M, S4.5M, S5M, S8M, and reinforced versions MTS8M, HPS, KPS
- Serration profile TN5, TN10 and other profiles P2M, P3M, P5M, P8M, T10, Minipitch with all common number of teeth, diameter and pitch
Different versions
- Different belt widths or different materials such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, rubber and polyurethane for higher transmission forces or transmission power
- Surface execution and surface working: clear anodized, hard alumite treatment, burnished, chemically nickel plated
- Hub borehole with round hole, tapped hole, keyway with straight and side tapped holes, offset borehole with locking devices
- Single-sided, two-sided or cut-down flanged wheel (flanged wheels prevent any jumping off of the toothed belts)
- Adaptable tightener pulleys or guide rollers on the motor, also with integrated radial ball bearings for all types of belt
- Temperature range of the synchronous belts of rubber/polyurethane, neoprene -30 to + 80 °C/0-80°C, (polyurethane has lower abrasion than rubber)(the tensile member consists of fiberglass, steel, Tetron and Kevlar, the tooth surface is made of nylon fabric)
The design criteria also include tables determined by the manufacturer that present the maximum power to be transmitted depending on the speed and number of teeth.
