Direct gearing

Motors with pinion or direct gearing mounted on the motor shaft considerably facilitate direct mounting on existing reduction ratios (can already be used as input pinion), gears, toothed racks etc.
Straight and helical toothed versions can be offered.
This machining is possible in all motors of the ST and DB series and the IP motors from an order quantity of 250 pieces.

Input pinion of brass or steel

In the straight toothed version, only 1-2 teeth are simultaneously engaged which transmit the whole load.
In the case of helical teeth, several teeth are engaged which leads to higher load capacity and quieter running. The drawback are the axial forces that occur and that have to be absorbed in the bearings. Both gearings have high efficiency and enable no-slip transmission.

This machining is possible in all motors of the ST and DB series and the IP motors from an order quantity of 250 pieces. If the shaft of the standard motor does not match the pinion, the shaft can be machined .

Input pinion of high-grade plastic

Straight teeth or pinions are delivered in a wide variety of modules (m 0.3-6) and flank profiles.
Straight, angled and spiral toothed bevel gears from modules 1 to 8 are also possible for the mounting of spiral bevel gears as well as hypoid gears.
Like worm wheels, the shaft ends cross at 90° but have considerably better efficiency.
Straight teeth/pinion, bevel gears etc. can be delivered in different materials (steel, brass, plastics etc.) depending on the load requirement specified by the customer.
