A keyway offers considerably higher rotation prevention, especially in comparison to the round shaft, and especially when the system is subject to increased requirements through a change in load and direction.

This machining is possible in all motors of the ST and IP, PD and DB series as well from an order quantity of 1 piece.

Key size depends on the shaft diameter:

• 5 mm shaft diameter: DIN 6885 - A 2 x 2 x 14
• 6.35 mm shaft diameter: DIN 6885 - A 2 x 2 x 14
• 8 mm shaft diameter: DIN 6885 - A 3 x 3 x 12
• 10 mm shaft diameter: DIN 6885 - A 3 x 3 x 12
• 14 mm shaft diameter: DIN 6885 - A 5 x 5 x 25

We can also deliver the spring on request.
In addition to the keyway, female thread, flat surfaces for adjustment screws and undercut for the fixing dowel pins, threaded blind holes with different thread sizes etc. can also be manufactured to your drawing data.

From 100 pieces, considerably more favorable prices barely above the price of the series-wound motor are possible due to series production.
