Bigger shaft

Larger or thicker shafts are used primarily to enable higher radial forces.

Possible as customer-specific motor version from 100 pieces:

• ST2818 series to max. 7 mm
• ST4118, ST4209 series to max. 8 mm
• ST5918, ST5909 and ST5709 series to max. 10 mm

Tolerance sleeves are a low-priced method of establishing compatibility with some more easily available transmission elements in other diameters. Further information can be found in the Accessories area.
As a larger shaft diameter is only advisable from an order of 100 pieces because of the manufacturing process, reducing bushes or spring sleeves offer a comfortable solution for quickly mounting unequal shaft diameters in different shaft connections such as couplings, brakes, encoders etc.

The motor shafts can also be manufactured in metric or imperial dimensions according to the application.
