PD4-N59 - stepper motor with integrated RS485 / CANopen ClosedLoop positioning control
The PD4-N is an effective enhancement of the Nanotec Plug & Drive motors. In addition to the integrated power end stage, it includes a complete, network-capable speed and positioning control. The user-friendly NanoPro Windows software allows users without programming knowledge to quickly and easily create and test even complex axis movements on a laptop by selecting one of the integrated modes that are tailored to different drive applications and configuring the movement sequences.
The NanoJ easy software allows even complex application programs to be stored in the controller and predestines the drive as a complete solution for local drive applications. In the area entitled Technology you can find further information and in the area entitled Download you can download the software.
As well as the movement sequences, machine parameters such as spindle pitch or gear reduction and motor parameters such as the microstep mode, for example, can also be conveniently set via the software. After configuration, the 16 motion profiles stored in the PD4-N can then be controlled by external signals via 6 inputs which allows an economic and flexible integration in the machine.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The PD4-N motors are delivered with a firmware that is optimized for RS485 as standard. If you want to use CANopen, you have to download the NanoPro software in the download area on the right of our web site, connect the motor to the PC via the serial interface and then carry out a firmware update via NanoPro.
